We are independent dealers for many of the top manufacturers in the window shading business.  Because we are not beholden to one brand, we always recommend the right solution for your application and budget.  This is rarer than you might think.

Roller Shades

Roller shades by Lutron, Crestron, Hunter Douglas, Qmotion, and MechoShade are ideal for providing glare control, UV protection, privacy and energy savings. These versatile window fashions are at home in a variety of residences, from modern residences to the floor-to-ceiling windows of high-rise condos and commercial environments. We carry a vast array of fabrics, ranging from durable solar shades to blackout shades to our designer-friendly Alustra collection. A highly flexible window treatment, roller shades can be coupled together to cover large expanses of glass or, more simply, as a single window blackout shade softened with a drapery panel.  Automate your shades with control via handheld remote, in-wall keypad, by time of day, position of the sun, or by iOS device or Android.  And, since we are not beholden to a single manufacturer, we are in the unique position of recommending the best product for your particular application.

Roman Shades and Woven Woods

Roman Shades by Lutron, Crestron and Hunter Douglas are available in a variety of soft fabrics and woven woods, or you can even opt to use your own material for a truly unique custom installation. Choose from several looks—from flat and sleek to textured and rustic-chic—to create absolutely beautiful custom window fashions to complement any home or office décor.

Horizontal Sheer Blinds

Horizontal Sheer Blinds by Lutron and Crestron, or the original, Hunter Douglas Silhouette, offer your home a plethora of light and privacy choices, with three different modes in one shade. The first is the brightest—you can let all the sunlight in by retracting the shade all the way into the metal- or fabric-wrapped fascia. Or, if you want to filter the sun, but still have visibility through the window, roll the shade down and open the vanes—this option provides UV protection as well. Lastly, you can close the vanes completely for the most glare reduction, UV protection and total privacy.

Drapery Systems

Drapery track systems from Lutron and Crestron provide a wide range of options to suit your needs. Our systems allow for tracks up to 30-feet long; single or multi-bend curved tracks; manual-open override ; track splicing ; 90-degree curves; and much more. Our drapery track systems are among the most customizable window fashions we offer. We can provide you with the fabric panels or we can utilize materials provided to us by your designer and fabricated by a drapery workroom for the most custom, exclusive look possible.

Vertical Draperies

Imagine the look of a drapery with the utility of a roller shade that retracts completely into a valance, requiring no stackback . That’s the magic Lutron Kirbe Vertical Draperies brings to your spaces. Choose from a variety of provided fabrics that are specifically engineered to roll up vertically.

Skylight/Tensioned Shades

Tensioned skylight shades provide solutions for skylights and angled windows. This innovative design from Lutron keeps fabric panels taut and parallel to windows with minimal sag at a variety of slopes. Lutron tensioned shades reduce light gaps around fabric and maximize the view when opened by eliminating the cables that are typical in skylight shades. The frame may be surface mounted, inside mounted or recessed into a pocket while still allowing easy access to update the fabric should you wish to in the future. This is a very aesthetically pleasing option if you have skylights or angled windows.  As a less expensive option, Hunter Douglas offers their Duette Honeycomb shades with their SkyLift operating system.

Insulating Honeycomb Shades

Hunter Douglas Duette or Lutron honeycomb shades add dimension to a space thanks to their cellular design. Plus, form meets function as honeycomb shades’ air pockets trap heat to provide superior insulation and reduced energy costs. Honeycomb shades can be raised and lowered smoothly and simultaneously to adjust the light levels in your space. Best of all, we have battery-powered Lutron Triathlon models that yield 3 to 5 years of battery life for extreme flexibility of placement in both new and existing homes.

Our Hunter Douglas Pirouette shades provide you with various options for light all in the same system in both automated and manual models. Soft vanes floating on a sheer backing put you in control of the amount of natural light that comes in, with dramatic effects. Transform harsh exterior light by diffusing it, spreading it evenly throughout your room, so you can maximize daylight hours and reduce your need for artificial light. With the touch of a button, the vanes close, filtering the light to a different degree, depending on the fabric, but providing 100-percent privacy.

Hunter Douglas is world renowned for their window-covering design innovation. Silhouette was the original Raise Lower Open Close  shade with multi-mode operation in one enclosure. The Signature S-Vane™  is designed to put you in control of the amount of natural light that comes in, with beautiful effects. Incredibly versatile window shades, –you can easily control the privacy and light levels..  Beautiful in your home or office, visit Motion Shading to experience Silhouette in our design showroom today.
